Monitoring

Live record

What we published, measured from the moment we published it.

Monitoring, not proof

  • This page monitors what we published, from the moment we published it. It is not a measure of skill.
  • The record is far too short to judge anything: we read nothing into fewer than 30 daily closes, and years are needed before a difference means much.
  • Past results do not predict future results. Prices can fall as well as rise, and you can lose money.
  • No backtest is shown as performance here: every number starts after the publication it measures.

Method

  • Entry: each composition and each rating counts from the close of the first business day after the day it was published (UTC), so a price that may predate the publication is never used.
  • Model portfolios: bought and held from the entry close until the next composition enters the same way; 100 at the first entry close; in the model's currency.
  • Smart Score buckets: every stock and REIT with a published balanced Smart Score, grouped by that score (8–10, 4–7, 1–3 and each score), equal weight, re-formed every day; a rating change moves the stock from its next entry close.
  • Total return: dividends reinvested (adjusted closes; for Moscow Exchange shares the consensus dividends are added back), before withholding tax, fees and trading costs.
  • Currencies: the US group in US dollars, the Russian group in roubles, all instruments together in euros (ECB and Bank of Russia reference rates).
  • Values are recomputed from the stored prices on every run, so a corrected source price can change a past value slightly; compositions and their publication times never change.
  • Benchmarks are total-return index lines or index ETFs (rebased to 100, no price levels). Daily prices come from the sources listed in the methodology.
