MMK is among the world’s largest steel producers and a leading enterprise in Russia’s ferrous metallurgy sector. The company’s assets comprise a large-scale metallurgical complex with a full production cycle, with high value-added products predominating in its output mix. MMK primarily sells its products on the domestic market and in CIS countries. Approximately 19% of sales are directed to Middle Eastern and Asian markets, while European countries account for 7%. Among the major projects currently underway at MMK is the construction of Coke Battery No. 12, which will have an annual capacity of 2.5 million tonnes of dry coke, with an estimated project cost of around 67 billion rubles.
